TERMS & CONDITIONS
Acceptance of Terms
By using any service provided by Cart@Yard Shipping Service, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.
Scope of Services
Cart@Yard Shipping Service provides courier and logistics services including:
• USA to Jamaica shipping services
• Air freight services
• Online shopping assistance
• Package handling and warehousing
• Package pickup services
• Home and office delivery services within designated areas
• Third-party courier services where applicable
Cart@Yard Shipping Service reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service without prior notice.
Shipping Schedule
Cart@Yard Shipping Service ships multiple times weekly.
All shipping schedules are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, airline schedules, weather conditions, inspections, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our control.

• Barrett Town
Free Home & Office Delivery Available:
• Rose Hall
• Montego Bay
Customers outside these service areas may be required to collect packages at designated pickup locations or arrange third-party delivery at their own expense.
Shipping Rates
Standard Shipping Rate:
• 1 lb to 10 lbs = JMD $800 per pound
Packages Over 10 lbs:
• JMD $750 per pound
Handling Fee:
• JMD $500 per shipment
Weight Rounding Policy:
Any package weighing 0.5 lb or more will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Examples:
• 2.5 lbs = 3 lbs
• 4.5 lbs = 5 lbs
• 7.5 lbs = 8 lbs
Online Shopping Assistance
Online shopping assistance is provided by Brandy Watson.
Service Fee:
• JMD $450 per order
Services include:
• Purchasing items on behalf of customers
• Assistance for customers without debit or credit cards
• Product sourcing assistance
• Online order placement
Customers must make full payment before purchases are made.
Cart@Yard Shipping Service is not responsible for:
• Vendor delays
• Wrong items shipped by vendors
• Product defects
• Size or color discrepancies
• Vendor cancellations
• Backorders
• Refund processing delays
All refund and exchange matters remain between the customer and the retailer.
Responsibility, Risk & Liability
All shipments are transported at the customer's own risk.
Cart@Yard Shipping Service assumes limited liability for loss, damage, delay, or shipping errors.
Responsibility begins once the package arrives at our warehouse and ends once the package is released to the customer or delivered within our service area.
Cart@Yard Shipping Service is not responsible for:
• Vendor errors
• Incorrect customer information
• Packages lost before reaching our warehouse
• Customs delays
• Airline delays
• Third-party carrier issues
• Natural disasters or force majeure events
Packaging & Fragile Items
Cart@Yard Shipping Service is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging by vendors or senders.
Fragile items including:
• Electronics
• Glass items
• Cosmetics
• Liquids
• Breakable merchandise
are shipped entirely at the customer's risk.
Prohibited & Restricted Items
Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipments comply with Jamaican and international laws.
Prohibited items include:
• Illegal drugs and controlled substances
• Firearms and ammunition
• Weapons
• Explosives
• Flammable materials
• Hazardous chemicals
• Counterfeit goods
• Pornographic materials
• Perishable foods
• Live animals
• Cash
• Cheques
• Negotiable instruments
Any prohibited item may be confiscated, destroyed, or surrendered to authorities without refund.
Customs, Duties & Government Charges
Customers are responsible for all:
• Customs duties
• Taxes
• Government fees
• Inspection charges
• Regulatory fees
Cart@Yard Shipping Service assumes no responsibility for customs inspections, delays, seizures, or penalties.
Payments
Accepted payment methods include:
• Cash
• Bank Transfer
• Online Payments
All balances must be paid in full before package release or delivery.
Payments become non-refundable once shipment processing has commenced.
Claims & Complaints
All claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of package receipt or delivery.
Supporting documentation may include:
• Purchase invoices
• Receipts
• Photographs of damaged goods
WhatsApp messages alone do not constitute an official claim.
Storage & Uncollected Packages
Packages not collected within 14 days of notification may incur storage charges.
Packages remaining unclaimed for more than 60 days may be:
• Donated
• Auctioned
• Disposed of
to recover storage and administrative costs.
Customers remain responsible for any outstanding balances.
Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be made before shipment processing begins.
Cancellation fees may apply where costs have already been incurred.
Cart@Yard Shipping Service reserves the right to cancel services at its discretion.
Amendments
Cart@Yard Shipping Service reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Changes become effective immediately upon publication.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the complete agreement between Cart@Yard Shipping Service and its customers and supersede any previous agreements or understandings.
